This workshop is designed for anyone who wish to learn the fundamental of painting cat with watercolour.
In this workshop, artist will demonstrate how to use wet on wet approach to work on the different parts of a cat.
Participants will paint a cat towards the end of the session.
Participants will also learn how to use different type of brushes for painting to achieve a good work. Understanding the various type of brushes can help participants to explore on their own after the workshop.
This workshop is suitable for beginners who like to take up a new hobby and learn more about the magic of working with watercolour.

- Round size 12 synthetic ( Ruhong)
- Round size 12 squirrel (Ruhong)
- Angle Shader size 3 synthetic (Ruhong)
- Liner 0 or 1 synthetic
All the brushes above are artist’s recommendation and they are all available at PREMIER ART
Do come early if need to get the tools at artshop.

About The Artist:

Seeling Tan is an international watercolour artist, a visual storyteller and a fulltime art educator for more than 25 years. She graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia majoring in fine arts and has a teaching Diploma in Learning Disorders Management and Child Psychology in The College of Teachers UK and College of Allied Educators Singapore.
Seeling teaches in various mediums like oil, gouache ink and watercolour.
Her style is very expressive, experimental and loose. She has an unique expressive style for painting animals, nature, landscapes and built environment.
She has exhibited her work in various shows locally and abroad.
Her paintings have travelled to international exhibitions in Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, Kosovo, Serbia, Poland and Sardinia. Seeling has done public art workshops in Malaysia with the National Art Gallery and Petronas Gallery. Her love for travel with her work gave her the opportunity to conduct public art workshop when she was in Sardinia with a local school and art gallery.
Seeling has self-published 3 books , “Discovering Serenity” (2009), “Sketches and Drawings of Orosei (2016) and “Expressive Art as Therapy with Special Needs” (2019).
